XIV. International Congress of IFPE

“There is no health without mental health.” Improving mental health is a key pathway to improving overall health and reducing the burden of disease in global populations.

The 14^th International Congress of the International Federation of Psychiatric Epidemiology (IFPE) will be held in Leipzig, Germany on June 5–8, 2013. The congress theme explores the role of the psychiatric epidemiologist in today’s world and particularly in terms of how our work has a positive impact on mental health across various populations. In addition to the latest research across the lifespan and within certain subgroups, we are interested in contemporary themes such as the uses of the latest technologies as well as emerging trends in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.
